This report presents results from the Annual Survey of major U.S. private shipbuilding and repair facilities, completed in May 2025. The survey was conducted and the report compiled by the Maritime Administration Office of Shipyards & Marine Engineering.

The report includes contact information for participating U.S. shipyards (large, medium, and small) and summarizes key facility and capability information, including vessel types constructed and/or repaired; maximum vessel dimensions accommodated; usable berth lengths; and major infrastructure such as dry docks and marine railways.
