A maritime incident has been reported in the Arabian Sea in the vicinity of 21-16N 059-45E, approximately 150 nm northeast of Duqm, Oman on July 29, 2021. The nature of the incident is reported to be an attack on, and explosion onboard, a commercial vessel. Exercise caution when transiting this area. This Alert will automatically expire on August 6, 2021. Any maritime industry questions regarding this alert should be directed to GMCC@uscg.mil.

1. Issue: This Advisory provides updates to maritime security resources, websites, and information.
Multiple maritime incidents have been reported in the vicinity of the Israeli ports of Ashdod and Ashkelon on May 11-12, 2021. The nature of these incidents is reported to be rocket strikes, which landed in and near these ports. Exercise caution when transiting or operating in or near Israeli ports and territorial waters. This Alert will automatically expire on May 21, 2021. Any maritime industry questions regarding this alert should be directed to GMCC@uscg.mil.
